Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 9, 2008 at a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Marie Lurline Broussard Lege, 90, who died Monday, October 6, 2008 at Abbeville General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Greg Chauvin officiating the services. She is survived by her son, Donald Lege and wife Yvonne of Abbeville; two grandsons, Kristin Mark Lege and wife Elda and Stephen Lege, Sr. all of Abbeville; a granddaughter, Stephanie Suttle and her husband Ronald of Virginia; one brother, Warren James Broussard and wife Georgann of Abbeville; a sister, Carmen B. Vincent and husband Curliss of Erath; one great grandchild; six step great grandchildren; six step great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Lege; parents John I. and Rosa Guidry Broussard; two brothers, Henry Broussard and John B. Broussard; sister, Jeanne Broussard; and one granddaughter, Melanie Lege. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m.; with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.. Visitation will continue on Thursday, October 9, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
