ABBEVILLE— Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, October 23, 2014 at
Vincent Funeral Home- Abbeville, honoring the precious life of Nora Jo Faulk, who died
peacefully in the arms of her parents on October 17, 2014.
Nora will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery, with Fr. Randall Moreau and Fr.
Keith Landry officiating the services.
Nora was joyfully welcomed into the world on September 28, 2014 by her parents,
Jacob and Regan Faulk; and siblings, Brooks, Pere', Reis and Ella Kate. They are
profoundly humbled and amazed by the powerful way that God has used her short
life to touch and bless the lives of so many. In addition, they are eternally grateful
for the priceless gifts that she has blessed them with throughout the journey.
Also graced by her life are her grandparents, David and Rita Faulk, Roy and Jodie
Bertrand, great grandparents, Louella Habetz, Roy and Lenora Bertrand, Ray and
Joyce Lege, as well as a beautiful extended family.
Nora was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Claude and Edith Faulk,
Preston Greene and Vincent Habetz.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home -
Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 11 a.m. - 8
p.m. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will be sung by the Little Lilies prayer group at 3
p.m.- the hour of mercy, and a rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Visitation will
continue on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
The Faulk family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the Little Lilies
prayer group, Family Missions Company, the medical staff at Lafayette General
and Ochsners, the Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos Shrine, Maddie's Footprints and
countless family and friends for their love, support and prayers through this sacred
Journey.
