He will be laid to rest at Landry Cemetery with Deacon Tim Marcantel officiating the services.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine B. Miguez; daughter, Melissa Miguez Chauvin and her husband, Tony; grandson, Blake Chauvin; and sister, Mary Lynn Suire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sterling Miguez and the former Leonia Brice; brother, Nelson Miguez; and son, Corey Miguez.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Special thanks to Dr. Belgodere, Dr. Sibilia, Dr. Lamarche and all nurses at AMG Specialty Hospital for their loving care and compassion. Also to Heart of Hospice for being so kind to our family and being there for us during our time of need.
