September 9, 1937 — October 7, 2008

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Mary Lee Gnau, 71, who died Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at LeMaire Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Harry T. Gnau of Kaplan; her mother, Leonie F. LeMaire of Kaplan; one son, Charles "Bubba" Gnau of Midland; four daughters, Sherie and her husband Michael McCammant of Kaplan, Karen "Katie" and her husband Brady Gautreaux of St. Amant, Angela and her husband David Hollier of Maurice, and Racheal Gnau of Kaplan; three brothers, Rodney LeMaire of Delcambre, Raymond LeMaire of Denham Springs, and Freddie LeMaire Jr. of Cow Island; and five grandchildren, Mitchel Hollier, Casey Gnau, Kyle Hollier, Mali Gnau, and Kourtney Gautreaux.

She was preceded in death by her father, Freddie "Black" LeMaire Sr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Thursday, October 9, from 8 a.m. until services
