ABBEVILLE - A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville honoring the life of Carolyn Mary Fluman Businelle, 54, who passed away peacefully on October 5, 2008 at her residence in Abbeville.
She lives behind four brothers, Skip Fluman and his wife Brenda, Roger Stakes and his wife Jackie, Wallace Stakes and his wife Tammy and Hollis Stakes and his wife Tabby; nephews, Jeffrey J. Fluman, Carl Fluman III, Kyle Fluman of Abbeville, Jean Stakes, Brady Stakes, Kevin Stakes of Lafayette, Jeffrey Fluman, Mike Fluman, John Fluman of California; nieces, Debbie Fluman, Brandy Stakes, Joslyn Stakes of Abbeville, Holly Stakes of Honolulu, HI and Jennifer Whelchel of California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Businelle, who only left us on August 27, 2008; mother, Helen Stakes of Abbeville; brother, John Fluman; and grandparents, Jeffrey and Helen Fleury of VT.
Carol was the best sister, aunt or friend that anyone could ever wish to have. She gave her love to each and everyone of her brothers, nephews, nieces and friends unconditionally with no regrets. She never had children of her own but her nephews and nieces all had a second mother with their "Auntie Louie". She will be missed so very much by each and everyone of us left behind every second, every minute of our lives. I love you with all heart with a fence around it.
The family requests that visiting hours will be observed at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, 209 S. Saint Charles St, on Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
