Eunice Rung Aikman

August 28, 1918 — October 8, 2008

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Eunice Rung Aikman, 90, who died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Kaplan Healthcare Center.

She will be laid to rest at Suire Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by one son, Joseph "Lanis" Clostio and his wife Alice H. of Forked Island; one daughter, Flodry and her husband Paul J. Bourque of Kaplan; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Ernest Aikman, one daughter, Della Ann Vincent and her husband Elton Leon Vincent, one son, James Ray Allen Clostio, two brothers, Leonce Rung, Ellis Rung, one sister, Yolande Marceaux, parents, Elie Rung and the former Anita Lege.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, October 9, 2008 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Friday, October 10, from 8 a.m. until services.
