Pecan Island—Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Pecan Island Baptist Church honoring the life of Alvin “Bubbie” Koch, 77, who died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital . He will be laid to rest at Pecan Island Community Cemetery with Rev. James Moore officiating the services.

He is survived by his four sons, Alvin Merle Koch of Kaplan, McCray Koch of Kaplan, William Thomas Koch of Cameron, and Thurman Ray Koch, Sr. of Carrollton, MS; two daughters, Tonya Koch Smith of Houma and Kristi Koch Ickerd of Kaplan; one brother, Kerney "Mitch" Koch of Pecan Island; fourteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donnie Koch; his parents, Alvin Koch and the former Bergna Dyson; one daughter, Vicki Koch; and one brother, Bernell Koch.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pecan Island Baptist Church, on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 3 p.m. till; Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 8 a.m. until services.
