Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church honoring the life of Percy David Breaux, 85, who died Saturday, October 25, 2014 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Leroy Cemetery with Reverend Johnathan Janise officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be, Gerald Breaux, Edward Breaux, Corey Breaux, Justin Meaux, Brett Meaux and Scott Breaux.
He is survived by three sons, Gerald Breaux and his wife, Cheryl of Maurice, James Breaux and his wife, Kathy of Meaux, and Edward Breaux of Leroy; one daughter, Sandra Meaux of Meaux; ten grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren; six brothers, Paul Breaux, Wilmer Breaux, Farris "Happy" Breaux, Vernis "PeeWee" Breaux, Ronald Breaux, and Lercey Breaux; and two sisters, Hilda Breaux Dugas and Marcel Breaux Delcambre.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecile Breaux; son-in-law, Gary Meaux; three brothers, Dallas Breaux, John Burley Breaux,and Elix Breaux; sister, Mary Breaux Delhomme; great grandson, Gabriel Anthony Breaux; and his parents, Avery Breaux and former Lena Boudreaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, October 28, from 8 a.m. until services.
