Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Isabelle Meaux, 88, who died Friday, October 24, 2014 at Riverbend Nursing and Rehab Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Leroy Meaux, Sr. and his wife, Carla of Buras and Paul J. Meaux and his wife, Andrea of Port Sulphur; five grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Hubert Gaspard and his wife, Velta of Kaplan and Rudy Gaspard and his wife, Gayle of Kaplan; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maxie M. Meaux, Sr.; her friend, Allen Roy; parents, Sidney Gaspard and the former Eunice Landry; three sons, Maxie Meaux, Jr., Paul Meaux, and Raymond Meaux, Sr.; and two daughter in-laws, Gloria and Brenda Meaux.

The family would like to thank Riverbend Nursing and Rehab Center and Chelsea Meaux for the excellent care they provided.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 10 a.m. until services.
