Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at a 2:00 p.m. service at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville honoring the life of Roy Lynn LeBlanc Moore, 60, of Abbeville who took her journey home on Sunday, October 12, 2008. She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Erath with Pastor Nick Gathers officiating the services. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Her most joyful past times were drawing and painting. She was a very loving person who loved people. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth Brent Moore, Sr.; children, Kenneth Brent Moore, Jr. and wife Marie Yvette Frederick of Erath, Scott Edward Moore and friend Stephanie Anne Elias of New Iberia and Shana Kay Moore and fiancé Donald Lee Brock of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Hillary Moore, Ethan Moore, Haleigh Moore and Scott Moore, Jr. all of Erath; father, Harold Joseph LeBlanc, Sr. of Erath; siblings, Harold Joseph LeBlanc, Jr. of Abbeville, Stevie LeBlanc of Dallas, Texas, Mary LeBlanc Champagne of Erath; sister-in-law, Karen Moore Faulk of Abbeville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret LeBlanc Broussard. Roy Lynn was a member of Vermilion Gospel Tabernacle. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. until time of services.
