Memorial services will be held Friday, October 24, 2008 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of James Kelly “Bubba” Frederick, II, 52, who died Tuesday, October 14, 2008. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services. He is survived by one son, Jed David Frederick and wife Heather of Duluth, Minnesota; one daughter, Alison Renee' Miller and husband Craig of Erath; parents, Kelly and Clara Frederick of Abbeville; four grandchildren, Victoria, Olivia, Emily and Lauren; one brother, Jude Frederick of Breaux Bridge; three sisters, Rochelle LeBlanc of Lafayette, Renee' Romero of Abbeville and Joan Romero of Abbeville; and his special friend, Stacey Bryant. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Evert and Elise Luquette Fournier and paternal grandparents, Luke and Elite Hebert Frederick. Bubba had recently retired with Chevron/Unical with over 30 years of service. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, October 24, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
