He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Arnold Cormier, Willien Broussard, Kyle Marooney and Shawn Nolan.
He is survived by his brother, Darrell Miller (Marie) of Groves, TX; two step-sisters, Joanna S. Cormier (Arnold) of Lafayette and Annette S. Broussard (Willien) of New Iberia; uncles, Leo Landry and Ralph Landry; aunt, Gladys Denais; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Humer Louis Miller and the former Beatrice Landry; step mother, Elita S. Miller; maternal grandparents, Loreal Landry and Cecile Comeaux; and paternal grandparents, Delino Miller and Laurice Ardoin.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Evangeline Oaks Guest House and Vermilion Health Care for their kindness and compassion shown to Charles and his family. Special thanks to Joanna and Arnold, his special buddy who were always there for Charles.
