She is survived by her son, Gerald L. Byler and his wife, Helena of Houston, TX; one daughter, Ethel and her husband, Gerald Sellers of Lafayette; two sisters, Ella Mae Hebert of Kaplan and Linda Bordelon of Kaplan; one brother, John LaBry of Kaplan; seven grandchildren, Col. Charles M. Sellers and his wife, Michele, Patrick Sellers, and his wife, Jodie, Lt. Col. June K. Sellers and her wife, Theresa, Lorna Sellers and her husband, David Folger, Philip N. Sellers and his wife, Amy, Gerald L. Byler, II, and Scot D. Byler and his wife, Jennifer; and ten great grandchildren, Dylan M. Sellers, Jesse Sellers, Julie Anne Sellers, Dr. Sarah Latiolais Ardoin and her husband, Philip, Jason M. Latiolais and his wife, Caroline, Lane P. Folger, Shelby Folger, Ian R. Sellers, Elia Sellers, and Arden Grace Byler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Neelis Byler; her parents, Jean LaBry and the former Angelle Girouard; four brothers; and five sisters.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Friday, November 14, 2014 from 8 a.m. until services.
