Andrew Trahan, Sr.

He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery with Reverend Bill Melancon officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Andrew Trahan, Jr., Damian "Yut" Trahan, Toby Hebert, Farrell Fontenot, Carroll Fontenot, and Ronald Broussard. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Fontenot, Gene Fontenot, Jr., and Christopher Waits.
He is survived by his wife, Mary LeBlanc Trahan; two sons, Andrew Trahan. Jr. and his wife Gretta, and Damian "Yut" Trahan and his wife Lisa all of Erath; daughter, Dawn Hebert and her husband Toby of Abbeville; sister, Gloria Waits of Springhill, LA; five grandchildren, Morgan Trahan, Lindsay Hargrave, Keisha Suire, Mattie Suire and Emma Grace Hebert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernand Trahan and the former Amae Reaux; numerous brothers and sisters; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Gladys LeBlanc; and godchild, Allen Ray Trahan.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, November 15, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
