She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Paul Roy Eleazar officiating the services.
She is survived by four sons, Russell Touchet and his wife Peggy of Houma, Kenneth Touchet and his companion Ladia of Carencro, Glenn Touchet and his companion Annie of New Iberia and Robert Touchet and his wife Jessica Of Little Rock, Arkansas; two daughters, Cheryl Calvit of Lafayette and Rita and her husband Murphy Royer of Duson; one brother, Edwin Guidry and his wife Janet of Kaplan; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Alfred Touchet; her son, Norman Touchet; her daughter, Carol Touchet; two brothers, Sandres Guidry and Willie Guidry; one sister, Rita Guidry; and her parents, Maurice Guidry and the former Alice LeBlanc.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Friday, October 24, from 8 a.m. until services.
