Wilfred "Boy" Guidry

He will be laid to rest at Greene Cemetery with Deacon Paul Roy Eleazar officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers were Kevin John Guidry, John Wayne Guidry, Dallas John Guidry, Wilfred Guidry III, Kasey Joseph Touchet, and Emery Edwin Guidry. Honorary pallbearers were Bryan Keith Guidry, Frank James Guidry, and Joseph Touchet Jr.
He is survived by three sons, Wilfred Guidry Jr. of Kaplan, John Guidry Sr. of Cow Island, and Paul James Guidry of Forked Island; seven daughters, Sherry Baudoin of Erath, Mary Ida Touchet of Kaplan, Betty Ann Guidry of Cow Island, Jessica Guidry of Kaplan, Macklyn Faye Miller of Kaplan, Patricia Vincent of Kaplan, and Rebecca Touchet of Gueydan; two brothers, Weston Guidry of Bayou Vista and Floyd Guidry of Houma; four sisters, Mildred Bernadou of Bayou Vista, Mary Lou Fusilier of Bayou Vista, Delores Verret of Bayou Vista, and Hazel Guidry of Houma; 68 grandchildren; and 98 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Isabelle Henry Guidry; three daughters, Margaret Touchet, Allvilla Marie Henry, and Carroll Harrington; six grandchildren, John Guidry Jr., Tracey Guidry, Bryan Oneil Guidry, Nathan John Guidry, Gaulman Harrington Jr. and Brandy Lynn Harrington; and one great granddaughter, Cherise Harrington.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Thursday, October 30, from 8 a.m. until services.
