Kaplan—Memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at a 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of David LeBlanc, 67, who died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Iberia Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Yvonne LeBlanc of Kaplan; four brothers, Joseph Daniel LeBlanc and his wife, Velma of Nederland, TX, Henry LeBlanc and his wife, Dolly of Dallas, TX, Chester LeBlanc and his wife, Betty of Kaplan, and John Dale LeBlanc and his wife, Jeanette of Lafayette; one sister-in-law, Martha Verrette of Denham Springs; one brother-in-law, Anthony Trauth and his wife, Rene of Jennings; 25 nieces and nephews; 53 great nieces and nephews; and 19 great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard LeBlanc and the former Ena LeBla Landry; two sisters, Lucy May Nunez and Mary Louise Hargrave; three brothers, Leo, Louis, and James Leonard; one niece; two nephews; one great nephew; and one great niece.
