Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Nita Nunez Beason, 86, who died Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Rev. Roland Fontenot officiating the services.

She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Ann Ackley Adams and her husband, Bradley Adams of Kaplan and Linda Joyce Mary Ackley Raines of Pasadena, TX; one sister, Delores Ann Marsh of Nunez; 11 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Nunez and the former Evie Stout; two brothers, Chester Nunez and Preston Nunez; two husbands, Elvin Ackley and Manuel Beason; and two sons, Ronald "Ronnie" Elvin Ackley and Richard Lee Ackley.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 9 a.m. until services.
