Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Ravis A. Broussard, 89, who died Friday, December 5, 2014 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ruth Eleazar Broussard of Kaplan; his son, Mark B. Broussard and his wife Elizabeth of Franklin, TN; his daughter Ruth Ann Dugal of Lafayette; seven grandchildren, Scott Roy, Eric Roy, Andre Dugal, Lucas Broussard, Claire Broussard, Lori Broussard and Blaise Broussard; and eight great grandchildren, Cody Roy, Camille Roy, Cade Roy, Ashton Faulk, Gabriel Mouton, Adicen Broussard, Jaydon Broussard and Harper Guillory-Broussard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Erise Broussard and the former Noala Castro; and his sister, Alice Joyce Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, December 9, from 8 a.m. until services.
