He is survived by his son, Phillip Meaux, Jr. of Kaplan; two daughters, Shlaci Meaux Richard and her husband, Brandon of Kaplan and Bethany Meaux of Kaplan; two sisters, Sherilyn Friou of Kaplan and Yolanda Meaux of Abbeville; four brothers, Harvey Meaux, Jr. of Kaplan, David Meaux of Midland, Samuel Meaux of Kaplan, and Ricky Meaux of Kaplan; six grandchildren; extended family member, Sarah Meaux of Gueydan; and his long time girlfriend, Sandra Hargrave of Kaplan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Meaux and the former Marrianne Harrington.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.; Friday, December 19, 2014 from 8 a.m. until services.
