Mary Alice Frederick

November 5, 1941 — November 10, 2008

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Mary Alice Frederick, 67, who died Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Jason Frederick, Quentin Winch, Tim Broussard, Todd Broussard, Brian Frederick and Blaine Trahan.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.

She is survived by her husband, Albert "Benjie" Frederick; children, Stacie Frederick Trahan and husband Blaine, Jason Frederick and wife Connie and Amy Frederick Winch and husband Quentin; step children, Felicia Frederick, Al Frederick and wife Renee and Brian Frederick and wife Crystel; her mother Eunice Choate Gastal; and 11 grandchildren, Ashlee Trahan, Katherine Trahan, Tyler Frederick, Cole Frederick, Halie Winch, Lyle Winch, Ben Frederick, Mary Margret Frederick, John Paul Frederick, Brennan Frederick and Victoria Frederick.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dalton Gastal and a brother Glenn Gastal.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 from 4:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, from 8:00 a.m. until service time.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Our Lady of Lourdes 5th floor, Dr. Brierre , Dr. Rossin and Eric.
