Egnolia Griffin Richoux

March 22, 1919 — November 12, 2008

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Friday, November 14, 2008 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Egnolia Griffin Richoux, 89, who died Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Vermilion Health Care Center.

She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Erath with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by three sons, Ray Richoux of Kaplan, Dennis Richoux of Bridge City, Texas, and Anthony Richoux of Richardson, Texas; one daughter, Donna R. Trahan of Kaplan; two sisters, Lorana Prestonbach of Houma and Joyce Puglise of Des Allemands; fourteen grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Evans Richoux; a daughter, Gail Rose Richoux; and a granddaughter, Gail Renee Richoux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, November 13, 2008 from 12:00 p.m. until services on Friday, November 14. A rosary will be prayed Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m.
