Oreal Touchet

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2008 at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Oreal Touchet, 71, who died Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette. He will be laid to rest at St. Anne Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services. He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Hazel Touchet of New Iberia; one son, Jimmy Touchet and his wife Cathi of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Melissa T. and her husband Will Armentor of New Iberia; three brothers, J.D. Touchet of Carencro, V.J. Touchet of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jeffery Touchet of Georgia; one sister, Carrie T. Breaux of Cow Island; two grandchildren, one step-grandchild; and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odelon Touchet and the former Rena Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, November 13, 2008 from 1 p.m. until services on Friday, November 14. A rosary will be prayed Thursday at 7 p.m.
