Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Linda Marie Choate, 49, who died Wednesday, January 7, 2015. She will be laid to rest at Pecan Island Community Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

She is survived by her two daughters, Angelle Choate and her fiance, Travis Hudson and Crystal Broussard, both of Kaplan; seven sisters, Kathleen Touchet of Abbeville, Judy Turner of Duson, Mary Susan Faye Williams of Kaplan, Mary Alice Breaux of Morgan City, Cynthia Marie Benoit of Kaplan, Shannon Touchet of Lake Arthur, and Ramona Hargrave of Kaplan; one brother, Clarence Paul Hargrave of Kaplan; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rory Choate; her parents, Wilbert Hargrave and the former Edith Meaux; her maternal grandparents; and her paternal grandparents.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Sunday, January 12, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services.
