Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Emma David, 85, who died Friday, November 14, 2008 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Anne Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by two sisters, Jeanne Romero of Kaplan and Della Mae Vidalier of Port Arthur, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Diodel David and the former Lawrence Boudreaux; brothers, Claphas David and Victor Weston David; and sisters, Gladys Frederick and Louise David.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, November 14, 2008 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, November 15, from 8 a.m. until services.
