Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Monday, November 17, 2008 at a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of James Daniel Suire, 70, who died Friday, November 14, 2008 at LSU Health Sciences Center at Shreveport. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Randall Moreau officiating the services. He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Clara R. Suire of Cow Island; two sons, Lucas Suire and his wife Angie of Cow Island, Scott Suire and his wife Maiden of California; one daughter, Maxine Suire and her husband Joey Dartez of Judice; and four grandchildren, Sean Suire of Cow Island, Caroline Suire of Kaplan, Taylor Dartez of Judice, and Chloe Suire of Cow Island. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladue Suire and the former Lelia Guidry, one brother, Roy Suire, one son, Kimble Suire and two nephews, George and Allen Suire. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m., Monday, from 8 a.m. until services.
