Hilda Gaspard Trahan

She will be laid to rest at Leroy Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services.
Hilda loved life and was always doing for others. She was a loving mother, sister and aunt that will be dearly missed.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Altar Society.
She is survived by her son, Ryan A. Trahan; three brothers, Jimmy Gaspard, Alvin Gaspard and Daniel Gaspard; and four sisters, Velma Dubois, Margaret Melancon, Laura Goodwin and Brenda Primeaux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Yolton Joseph Trahan; parents, Paul Gaspard and the former Ednes Hebert; and sisters, Mildred Gaspard, Paulette Gaspard, Nell Thibodeaux and Terry Baynard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday, January 12, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
