Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Catholic Church honoring the life of Donnie Jacob Bodin, 57, who died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at his residence.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Bill Melancon officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Bodin, Jason Bodin, Ronald Gaspard, Trinity Luquette, Danny Broussard and Steve Roy.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Faulk Bodin; children, Jason Bodin and his fiancee April Broussard of Abbeville, Erica Bodin and Ronald Gaspard of Abbeville, Benjamin Jacob Bodin of Abbeville, and April Bodin of Abbeville; father, Whitney Bodin; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Richie Bodin of Alabama, and Paul Burton Bodin of Abbeville; and sister, Marretta Baker of Abbeville.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Henrietta Lee Bodin; and grandson, Austin James.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 9:00 a.m until 1:30 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
