Kaplan— A memorial gathering will be held at Vincent Funeral Home – Kaplan from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. honoring the life of Kenneth Ray Mallet, 63, who died Friday, January 9, 2015 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Mayann Mallet of Kaplan; one son, Mark Rangas of Kaplan; one daughter, Tammy Mallet of Kaplan; one sister, Darlene Gaspard of New Iberia; one brother, Ron Mallet of Kaplan; four grandchildren, Bryan Benoit, Bryce Benoit, Raven LaPointe, and Robyn LaPointe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Mallet and the former Noemie Broussard; and one nephew, Toby Mallet.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
