Gueydan—Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 15, 2015 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Allen Paul Touchet, 77, who died Monday, January 12, 2015 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Fontenot Touchet of Gueydan; one son, Timmy Paul Touchet and his companion, Merlene LeJeune of Gueydan; two daughters, Roxanna LeJeune of Abbeville and Charlotte Bonvillion of Gueydan; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hampton and Mable Touchet; one great grandson, Brayden Trahan; one brother, Lurnis Touchet; and three sisters, Annie Lunsford, Dorothy Marceaux, and Murdie Simon.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 10 a.m. until services.
