Joycie Mae Thibodeaux

December 25, 1931 — November 16, 2008

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Joycie Mae Thibodeaux, 76, who died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Jennings Guest House.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend William C. Blanda officiating the services.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Joyce Craig of Mississippi; a step son, Allen Thibodeaux of Texas; three step daughters, Sharon Stewart of Crowley, Jeanette Hunter of Kentucky and Rebecca Geautreaux of Baton Rouge; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elie and Lily Moluzon Decuire; husband, Frank Thibodeaux; five brothers, Alword, Ollen, Frank, E.J. and Olton Decuire; and three sisters, Alfreda Nunez, Elrita Pere and Pauline Etue.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 from 10:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
