Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Lloyd Joseph Dugas, 81, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in Gueydan, Louisiana, after a battle with cancer.

He is survived by his four daughters, Rose Dugas, Pearl LeMaire, Sherry Dugas, and Loma Abshire; two step-sons, Joe Romero and Melvin Romero; thirteen grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; twenty-three step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leta Schexnayder; son, Floyd Dugas; lifelong companion, Rosina Romero; step grandson, Michael Romero; and parents, Alexson Dugas and the former Adaza Credeur.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
