Leonce Gaspard

April 16, 1935 — November 23, 2008

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Leonce Gaspard, 73, who died Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Greg Chauvin officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Brandon Vice, Kurt Vice, Matthew Vice, Brody Guidry, Jacob Gaspard and Jesse Morales. Lector will be Jennifer Guidry.
He is survived by one son, Mike Gaspard and wife Debbie of Abbeville; two daughters, Sue Vice and husband Reed of Abbeville and Sheila Guidry and husband Wendell of Abbeville; one brother, Nelson Gaspard and his wife Betty of Kaplan; one sister, Gladys Stepp of Port Neches, TX; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarcy Gaspard and the former Agnes Manceaux; brothers, Oliver Gaspard, Preston Gaspard, Andrew Gaspard and J.C. Gaspard; and one grandson, Corey Gaspard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, November 24, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:30 p.m.; Tuesday, November 25, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
