Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Victory Lighthouse Church honoring the life of Gerald Glenn Phillip Landry, 73, who died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery with Pastor Deborah Randall officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Chad Segura, Jeramie LeBlanc, Justin LeBlanc, Marcus Breaux II, Matthew Breaux, and Tyler Monteaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Breaux, Sr. and Marcus Breaux, Sr.
He is survived by his sons, Tony Breaux of Delcambre, and Marcus Breaux of Grand Cane; daughters, Sandra Breaux of Erath, Linda Breaux of Abbeville, and Shantell Schexnider of Abbeville; sisters, Joyce Landry of New Iberia, and Ruth Freyou and her husband Harold of New Iberia; sister-in-law, Janet Landry of New Iberia; thirteen grandchildren, Chad, Jeramie, Melissa, Justin, Dawn, Tony II, Jerry, Damien, Kirsten, Alexia, Marcus II, Matthew, and Maegan; twenty-nine great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Primeaux Landry; parents, Lionel and Eunice Landry; grandson, Evelton Myers II; granddaughter, Monique Meyers; daughter-in-law, Rita Breaux; and brother, Charles "Chubby" Landry.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Victory Lighthouse Church, 1606 N. Lafitte Road, Abbeville on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday, January 31, 2015.
