April 30, 1913 — November 25, 2008

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 29, 2008 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Margaret Marie Mayard Trahan, 95, who died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.
She will be laid to rest at Leroy Cemetery with Fr. Michael Delcambre officiating the services.
She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy T. and husband George M. Green, III of Abbeville; three sisters, Louella Mayard Delcambre, Lucille Mayard Bernard and Vernon Mayard Sellers all of Abbeville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Joseph Trahan; father, Oliver Joseph Mayard, mother, Marie Aurore Mayard nee Richard; and three brothers, Curtis, Ira and Natley Mayard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, November 28, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; they will reopen on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. until time of services
