Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 at a 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Catholic Church honoring the life of Ray Allen Comeaux, 65, who died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at his residence.

He will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Emmanuel Fernandez officiating the services.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Ferguson, Norman Callahan, Jimmy Broussard, Kelby Henry, Samuel Broussard and Ted Broussard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Hebert, Jr., Roland Thibodeaux, and James LeBlanc.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Dorothy Ann Vincent Comeaux; daughter, Angela Comeaux; two grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Comeaux and the former Natalia Campbell; brother, Norman Schexnaider; and sister, Gloria Comeaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday, February 23, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
