Florence "Flo" Adele Broussard Guidry
July 27, 1930 — February 21, 2015
She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.
Flo was a totally devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her biggest joys were family, friends and helping people. She leaves a void that will never be filled. Flo loved and was loved by her dear friend and caretaker Phyllis Levine. The family would like to express its gratitude to Phyllis for her many years of companionship to Flo.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years William W. "Bill" Guidry Jr. ; sons, Toddy Guidry and Marcus Guidry and his wife Jill; daughters, Alyce Coppinger and Marcelle Guidry; a brother, Marcus A. Broussard Jr.; three grandchildren, Marcus Guidry Jr., Carmen Guidry and Zachary Guidry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus Broussard and Murial Brady Broussard; brother, Brady Broussard; daughter-in-law, Chris S. Guidry.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service with a rosary to be prayed at 9:00 a.m.
