Joseph Kelly Hebert, Sr.

January 7, 1946 — December 4, 2008

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Joseph Kelly Hebert, Sr., 62, who died Thursday, December 4, 2008 at his residence.
He will be laid to rest at Landry Cemetery with Reverend Greg Chauvin officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Joseph Kelly "Sonny" Hebert, Jr., Blain Hebert, Phil Floris, Jr., Kolby Floris, Savannah Floris, David Melancon, Anthony Leblanc and Bart Thibeaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Vincent, Dylon Hebert and Logan Hebert.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph Kelly "Sonny" Hebert, Jr. of Kaplan and Blain and wife Brandy Hebert of Gueydan; three daughters, Shawntina and husband Phil Floris, Sr. of Erath, Rachelle Hebert of Abbeville, and Merlin Hebert and friend Wayne Vincent of New Iberia; a sister, Barbra Hebert of Creole, LA; fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and Beverly Campbell Hebert; wife, Evelyn Hebert, and a brother, Richard Hebert.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, December 7, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Monday.
