J.C. Breaux

January 10, 1930 — December 5, 2008

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 8, 2008 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thesea Catholic Church honoring the life of J.C. Breaux, 78, who died Friday, December 5, 2008 at a Lafayette Hospital.
He will be laid to rest at St Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.
Mr. Breaux retired with the U.S. Civil Defense with 31 years of service. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Laura Guidry Breaux of Abbeville; a daughter, Tawnya Breaux of Houston; son, Randy Breaux of Kaplan; brother, Bennett Breaux of Perry; a sister, Rena Broussard of Abbeville; one grandchild and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norbert and Cecile Henry Breaux; brother, Joseph “Bee” Breaux; and a sister, Maize Lege.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, December 7, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. untill 10:00 p.m. and from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Monday. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
