Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Adele Harris Nolan, 75, who died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, peacefully in the comfort of her home.
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Dr. John Haith officiating the services.
Pallbearers will be Jabori Huntsberry, Jason Nolan, Greg Jackson, Joshua Pillette, Ricky Mouton and Clement Dorsey. Honorary pallbearers will be her sons, Patrick Nolan and Reginald Harris.
Our beloved mother, Adele Nolan was born on September 26, 1939. She was a loving mother with strong family values. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and friends.
She was a long time member of the Institute of Metaphysical Research Bible School. She retired after working for 46 years at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home.
She is survived by her two sons, Reginald L. Harris and his wife, Tiffany, and Patrick T. Nolan and his wife, Christy both of Abbeville; one daughter, Sharron Pillette and her husband, Kibbie of Abbeville; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Nolan, Jr.; parents, James Harris and the former Mariah Mathews; daughter, Cindy Nolan; brothers, lloyd Harris, Floyd Harris and James Harris, Jr.; and sisters, Mary Mitchell, Alberta Harris, Merline LeBlanc and Earline Harris.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
