Marie Lege Bonin

August 18, 1918 — December 11, 2008

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2008 at a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Marie Lege Bonin, 90, who died Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty Flowers of Kaplan and Peggy Stelly of Lafayette; one son, Calvin Stelly of Los Angeles, California; one sister, Benita L. Clostion of Kaplan; five grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bonin.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, December 12, 2008 from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Saturday, December 13, from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
