Lily Mae Hebert

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Lily Mae Hebert, 78, who died Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at Immaculate Conception Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.

She is survived by four sons, Douglas James Hebert and his wife Judy of Abbeville, Kayward Jean Hebert and his wife Barbara of Abbeville, Galen John Hebert and his wife Romona of Lafayette, and Lonnie Charles Hebert and his wife Frances of Kaplan; one daughter, Joey Cormier and her husband Darrell of Kaplan; two sisters, Mary Rose Dartez of Kaplan and Genevia Touchet of Morgan City; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and eight step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Rung and the former Ematile Gaspard; her husband, Hampton Hebert; three brothers; and six sisters.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, December 13, 2008 from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6 p.m.; Sunday, December 14, from 8 a.m. until services.
