Cordell Scott Campbell

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Cordell Scott Campbell, 46, who died Sunday, March 15, 2015 at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Father Neil Pettit officiating the services. Pallbearers will be D.J. Duhon, Clint Boudreaux, Chad Campbell, Tyler Campbell, Cordell Campbell Jr, Vince Campbell, Keith Garber and Larry Fischbeck. Honorary pallbearer will be Reves Mire.

He is survived by his wife, Antoinette Duhon Campbell of Abbeville; four sons, Keith Garber and his wife, Tiffany of Opelousas, Vince Campbell and his wife, Janet of Opelousas, Tyler Campbell of Abbeville and Cordell S. Campbell Jr. of Abbeville; daugter, Brittany Campbell; step daughter, Blair Hargrave of Kaplan; mother, Daphney "Gae" Meaux Fischbeck of Erath; brother, Chad Campbell and his wife, Vickie of Erath; and eight grandchildren, Taylor, Payton, Lance, Emma, Zayne, Cohen, Kodi and Alayah.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dudley Joseph Campbell; sister, Racquel Campbell; paternal grandparents, Agnes Trahan Campbell and Doris Campbell; and maternal grandparents, Murphy Meaux, Jr. and Della LeMaire Meaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, March 21, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for church.
