Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Edward “Slim” Conner, 81, who died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Abbeville General Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Stelly of Kaplan; and one brother, Minos Conner of Nunez.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Conner; one son, Roger Conner; one brother, Lloyd Conner; and his parents, John Conner and the former Elvina Colomb.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 a.m.
