Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Mission Chapel honoring the life of Kitzie Richard Foster, 35, who died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Acadia General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Hanks Cemetery with Reverend Kendal Faulk officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband, Shane Foster of Kaplan; three sons, Matthew Foster of Kaplan, Sean Foster of Kaplan, and Tyler Foster of Jennings; one daughter, Emmalee Foster of Kaplan; one brother, Michael Richard, Jr. and his wife, Angelle of Eunice; one sister, Rena and her husband, Mark Bertrand of Morse; her parents, Michael Richard, Sr. and Judy Richard of Morse; her father-in-law, Francis Foster of Eunice; and her mother-in-law, Brenda Langlinais of Kaplan.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Roy and Ella Richard; and her maternal grandparents, John and Rena Daigle.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services.
