Orta Simon Lemaire

August 26, 1917 — December 20, 2008

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Orta Simon LeMaire, 91, who died Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Kendal Faulk officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Claude LeMaire of Kaplan; two daughters, Jeanette Bernard and Ruby Guidry both of Kaplan; one sister, Lucille LeMaire of Kaplan; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grand children and six great great-grand children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy LeMaire; two brothers, Gilfert Simon and James Simon; and one sister, Aline Albarado.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, December 20, 2008 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Sunday, December 21, from 8 a.m. until services.
