Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Lighthouse For Jesus Church honoring the life of Brenda Gail Broussard Landry, 51, who died Friday, December 19, 2008 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Donnie Bolden, Sr. officiating the services.
She is survived by her husband, Murphy Ray Landry of Abbeville; three daughters, Natasha Johnson, Monica Landry and Ashley Landry all of Abbeville; parents, Charles Ray Broussard, Sr. and Elea Mae Antoine Broussard; seven brothers, Charles Ray Broussard, Jr., Calvin Broussard, Dalton Broussard, Otis Brown, Jr., Timothy Brown, Darrel Brown and Lance Brown; nine sisters, Katherine Broussard, Rosemary Landry, Carolyn Begnaud, Jacqueline Broussard, Biniker Broussard, Cathy Brown, Gina Brown, Angela Brown and Markell Perro; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Otis Brown, Sr; and brother, Carl Brown.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, December 26, 2008 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.; Saturday, December 27, 2008 from 8 a.m. until time of service.
