Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Monday, December 29, 2008 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Hilda Harrington Landry, 88, who died Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.

She is survived by her children, Lois Vincent, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Roy Landry, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Bennett James Landry and Joann Miller; two brothers, Joseph Harrington, Jr. and Lloyd Harrington; three sisters, Cecile Bussy, Audrey Norman and Susan Sims; 21 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Joseph Landry; father, Joseph Harrington; mother, Edolie Theriot Harrington; and two sisters, Shirley Harrington and Rita Gachassin.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, December 29, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. util time of service.
