Beulah Neveaux Duhon

December 20, 1919 — January 2, 2009

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2009 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church honoring the life of Beulah Neveaux Duhon, 89, who died Friday, January 2, 2009 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
She will be laid to rest at Leroy Cemetery with Fr. Greg Simion officiating the services. Pallbearers include Trey Frederick, Kevin Racca, Brent Frederick, Nolan Frederick, Jr., Rickey Vidallier, and Ritchie Bertrand.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Neveaux and wife Sue of Meaux; two step son, Autrey Lee Duhon and wife Brenda Roy of Abbeville and Leroy Duhon of Lafayette; three daughters, Helen Neveaux Racca of Abbeville, Clara Neveaux Hay of Ringgold and Laura Neveaux Frederick of Abbeville; two sisters, Della Simon Racca of Kaplan and Gertie Simon Fabre of Leroy, nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Raoul Neveaux; second husband, Aswell Duhon; Grandchild, Carlos Babin and great grandchild, Damon Babin; father, Alcide Simon; mother, Laura Landry Simon, her brothers, Vernice Simon and Joseph Paul Simon; and a step son, John Jeffery Duhon.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, January 2, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to prayed at 7:00 p.m. The family will reopen on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
