John S. Faulk

September 28, 1919 — January 11, 2009

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of John S. Faulk, 89, who died on his 62nd wedding anniversary, Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.

He is survived by two daughters, Linda F. and her husband Eddie Camnetar of Belle Chase and Gail and her husband Paul Conner of Kaplan; one brother, Leo Stanley Faulk of Kaplan; three grandchildren, Jason Conner and his wife Christal of Kaplan, Brooke and her husband David Ritchie of Westwego, and Johnathan Camnetar of Belle Chase; and five great grandchildren, Jacob Conner of Kaplan, Tyler, Zachery, Peyton and Bailey Ritchie, all of Westwego.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Duna Hardy Faulk; his parents, Adonis Faulk and the former Azema Trahan; and three brothers, Ewell, Ernest, and Louby Faulk.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, January 12, 2009 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, January 13, from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
